Does enabling the turn signal work for most vehicles or is it a feature solely for your car’s model?

Thanks for the informative video. I had a dead battery in my 997.2 and encountered the locked door. I looked in the owner's manual and it described getting into the fuse panel as you did OR try the hood button on the remote to open the trunk .... it worked !!!!

Don’t release the weight ( your floor jack ) so quickly. Release it very carefully and slowly. If the torque wrench wasn’t clicking at first, then the calibration was set too tight. Loosen the adjustment screw a half turn and recheck with the weight. It should click about a half a second after the full weight is on the wrench. If it clicks too easily then tighten it a little bit. When you have it set right, try it 2 or 3 times to confirm. The wrench must be pretty much exactly level not up a tiny bit or down a tiny bit to get the closest to exact adjustment. I also don’t think bathroom scales are the most perfectly calibrated scales either. All in all, getting it close is the best bet and is much bette4 than being “ out “ by 3,4 or 5 lb feet or more.

I own a 2020 Kia Telluride bought brand new off the lot. Warranty just ended & what do you know sunroof goes out. Also my driver window can randomly get stuck. Never had a single maintenance issue though 👍🏽

Yes there have been recalls, my took her 2022 SX Prestige in not a big deal.

I got a 2006 tucson and so far I have invested around 3-4k in 2 years, but never have I had as many issues with sensors and stuff like that (or water leaking inside).

As long as you’re paying for the maintenance, car will last pretty long. Problem is Porsche is not diy friendly and mechanics knows that and charges a lot.

count the threads on the other side to torque the strut nut on reassembly since you cant torque.

Next time just user your hand to spread out the rejuvenator oil, you can't really use too much of it.

Same thing Happened to my wife’s wolf grey telluride. I didn’t replace it though i got everything color matched and painted even the lower black plastic trim on the fenders and bumpers to wolf grey and it looks really good and unique.

Hy! Love your videos of the 997! I've wathced all before buying one! Now on mine i have a problem: do you know how i can check if the orginal b4 damper's wiring is ok? ( the rest of the car wiring is surely ok as i get voltage on multimeter) I am stuck with car in full stiff mode showing PASM error after a change of top from mounts. They worked perfectly before, switching from normal to sport but now there is something wrong!

I'd steer clear of any jack designed like that Sunex. The round bottom means if it gets tilted even a little to one side it's going to roll out and drop the car on you. Not safe. I think Torin used to sell that style, but switched to a truncated triangle because of the stability problems.

you all need to understand that leather conditioner does not work on most leather seats because the polyurethane coating makes it impenetrable to conditioner. You're just leaving conditioner residue on the surface

Yes! Kia has a long way to go to improve the quality of their products. I had the same issue with my 2021 kia telluride. It's been consuming consuming the engine oil from the very beginning , I have to top up the engine oil every 2weeks.but dealership says, it's my fault. And the car is not restarting after auto engine shut off. I replaced battery and sensor, but dealership couldn't fix the problem. Only trying to charge me more and more money. Kia car lasts only for 3 years. I'm a korean ,I'm so sad to say and admit the shitty quality of korean products.

I have mine..... Never had any Problems with it.... Kept oil changed regularly, tire change whenever it needed it. And I have 189,000. Mileage and going. I love mine

coolant leak and bad thermostat at 19k miles is bad design. I was considering getting a 911, I know they are legendary cars, but I refuse to buy something so deliberately bad designed.

Bro, I don’t own a Porsche but I still subscribed - your videos (including editing and lighting/clarity) for a DIY mechanic are pretty impressive. That said, you need to get yourself some more and better tools if you’re doing this type of work! I was shocked (pun intended) that you had to resort to a crescent wrench for some of the larger bolts. Again, your work and your ability to explain your work is impressive, but you need yourself a full line of open end wrenches, a good 3/8 flex head ratchet and smaller 3/8 torque wrench as well. Oh, and a Knipex pliers wrench (or Harbor Freight ICON knock off) can come in really handy as well. Btw, I see you’ve had to move a lot in your videos (CA>AZ>TX?) - do you do mechanical work for a living by chance?
